Returning to the scene of my morning bike crash, I was thrilled to - TopicsExpress

Returning to the scene of my morning bike crash, I was thrilled to retrieve these muddy reading glasses, which had been tossed from my head as it was launched over the handlebars on a bike that had jumped the curb at 20 mph a nanosecond before, my chin skidding to a rest on the grassy median strip that saved my flipping life. It was a split second decision to take the curb in order to make room for the blue haired old bag in the matching colored Caddy who was squeezing me off the piece of road wed been trying to share, to no avail. She was hunched and blind and muttering some gibberish about me not wearing a helmet. It aint easy being me, but at least weve lived to tell the tale.
