Revelation: Yesterday I spent several hours working in my yard. I was mostly sitting or kneeling with a little bit of twisting, but no bending over. When I was finished, I rinsed off and dove into the pool. It was a bit cool but not so bad that this die hard southern girl couldnt stand it. I swam a little (very little) and then floated imagining I was in the ocean. When I stopped floating and decided to get out.... I couldnt! Pain shot down my back and I found it was almost impossible to put weight on my right leg. Conclusion....dont jump into cold water after a strenuous workout! Also, of all the things I did to relieve the pain; hot shower, Naproxen, heating pad, cold, massage and yoga, YOGA gave the most relief. Lesson learned!
