Review Mardaani 10 years ago who would believe that you would have films void of musical songs packed with thrills led by women and be commercial bonanza for the producer. Today this is becoming a more frequent affair. I believe this movie is all set to become Indias first women centric action franchise. A story at the backdrop of human trafficking and a towering performance by rani.mukherjee is a must watch. Pradeep Sarkar rediscovers his long lost touch since Parineeta. The movie would keep you at the edge of the seat with an unconventional smart script and good cinematography. I love this film. The potrayal of the harsh reality is definitely not a family product but a must watch. Speaking anything about Rani Mukherjee and her performance would be an understatement considering the magnitude of her presence and acting. It was not Rani Mukherjee it was Shivani Shivaji Roy ... that convincing she made it. The best being the scene where tear rolls out her eyes and yet she has a clam but tough tone while throwing out a challenge to the villain over the phone. Background score was commendable. Watch this. 6 out of 7 stars.
