Review on google of a couple who stay in our guest house in October 2013 Feel at home ... 5 of 5 Guy Oct 10, 2013 Paradise Nest guest house / Mauritius Feel at home in Paradise We spent 3 nights here in October 2013 and had such a wonderful time that we didnt want to leave. We randomly found this place on the Internet and simply had a good feeling about it, that later proved to be completely justified. The place is beautifully decorated with attention to the smallest details, there is a nice pool and a Jacuzzi (which unfortunately we didnt try) and lovely gardens with cute sitting areas. The place looks exactly just like to photos on the Internet (unlike some other places we found online) The location is great with several beautiful beaches within a walking distance and there are several options for dining, shopping and other activities nearby. But the place itself is located in a quiet residential, non-touristy area. We arrived in Mauritius at night in a middle of storm and quickly lost our way from the airport. We called Brigitte and Benoit who came to the rescue. And they immediately made us feel at home and relaxed at their place. They are a bank of knowledge on Mauritius and know many places and people, each day they helped us plan our agenda for the next day and Brigitte phoned in advance in order to make inquiries on our behalf and to get us good rates. We spend every evening talking, getting to know them better and learning a lot about the island and life in Mauritius in general. It didnt feel like that were tourists in a guest house it was like were guests of the family. Breakfasts were delicious and on one evening Brigitte cooked a homey meal for us which was very good. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for something special with a personal touch which is not like the standard touristic places where they are just interested in your money. Brigitte and Benoit you are amazing warm hosts with big hearts, thanks again for everything and looking forward to come back there again sometime. (we still have to try the Jacuzzi). Guy & Manja.
