Revisiting One Step Beyond: I recently watched several excellent episodes of this unjustly underrated [except in this group, of course] TV series. The acting is uniformly fine and at times startlingly powerful...John Newland directs every story with a sure hand and intriguing visual touches, and also serves as a genial and slightly unsettling host...I really enjoy his delivery and that mischievous smile. Major kudos to this terrific anthology; it deserves to be recognized as a great example of what intelligent and effective genre television once was, right alongside our other favorites. (y) ^_^
