((((( Rhythmz A-Z )))) With Mamavi Owusu Aboagye This Saturday on Rhythmz A-Z, we will look at the maiden edition of the Television Awards Ghana which was launched at Alisa Hotel two weeks ago. The event is set to conduct a structured annual awards scheme for deserving television stations, programs, production crew and personalities in the industry. We will broaden the topic to look at television content – past and present – and challenges facing content production in the country. We will highlightsome of the unique television contents that have been produced over the years. Let’s try to find out why some popular productions, Things We Do For Love, By The Fire Side, and Inspector Badiako, are no longer on television today. Will find out if Television Awards Ghana will improve television content production in Ghana.Is Television Awards Ghana a threat to the Radio and Television Personality Awards? We will look at the arrest of Shatta Wale and the subsequent denial by his manager Bulldog. Also we will look at Sarkodie’s song ‘Free Press’ which attacks some journalists.
