Richard Halverson said in 1984: “In the beginning the church was a fellowship of men and women centering on the living Christ. Then the church moved to Greece, where it became a philosophy. Then it moved to Rome, where it became an institution. Next it moved to Europe where it became a culture, and, finally, it moved to America where it became an enterprise.” The American ability to turn everything into an enterprise never ceases to amaze me. Which do you think is more clever: 1) Walmart licensing AC/DCs Back In Black for their week-long Black Friday Sale or 2) Hondas Happy Honda Days promotion? And how do you feel about everythhing being commercialized even your holidays and your Holy Days? https://youtube/watch?v=_Zx2kHn8oyQ
