Right Facebook friends. Im throwing this out there to you for some feedback. If theres anything more reliable in life, its my mates telling me my latest project is a pile of shit ! So, heres the script ......... I constantly hear folk moaning about not being able to charge their phones up beside the bed due to lack of sockets, having to run extension cables for bedside lights, tripping over stuff getting up in the middle of the night as our ever ageing bladders can no longer see us sleep all night without a visit to the pan ! We all go to hotels, have nice little switches beside the bed, then come home and just accept what weve got ! Well, that no longer needs to be the case ! You cant go into a shop and buy anything like this, so Ive been working on a prototype.... The beauty of it is you can customise it any way you want. Pick different lighting, pick different finishes, add mood lighting, add USB sockets, configure the switching, Ive even worked in a volume control and speakers that you can plug your phone into. It all works off a 13A plug top which will be designed to reach to your nearest socket. It comes with standard fittings to attach to the bed, but theres also an option to fix directly to the wall. I need your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, questions, piss taking, whatever ! My plan is to market it in the new year, through a website and eBay shop. Price will obviously be the main question. A blank canvass king size board will cost around £135 then you can start customising it from there. The one in the pictures I reckon will cost between £350-£400 as a rough guide. Well, there you go..what do you think ??
