Right! Ladys and Jellybeans! and all members over the age of 18! Its getting to the time of year where it gets colder and darker alot sooner than normal basically...winter is coming! Which means one thing, Nationals is drawing near (well time to organise stuff is anyway) for those of you who dont know nationals is our societies and others from other unis to come together and do what we love! This year, nationals will be taking place at De Montfort University (for those of you who dont know its in Leicester) from 27th-29th March 2015 and the base cost is £25 perhead (this will be lower we have funding from our lovely su) for this they organise a weekend of completive fun for all your nerdy needs! there are categories: RPG (too many to list) [2 per type] Wargames (Bolt Action (ww2), Deadzone, Warmachine, Saga, Warhammer, 40k, Infinity, Dreadball and X-wing) [3 per type] TCG (Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!) [2] Board Games [3] Co-op Board Games [3] Lan Games [2] Employee of the Aeon [1] there is also other stuff including: Geek themed quiz Traders (they sell stuff) Painting comp (speed and pre painting) FANCY DRESS/ LARP COMPETITION (WE WIN THIS IT IS OUR THING!) as well as the £25 you will require a hotel room to stay in, or a nice sleeping bag if youre feeling hard core and you sleep rough, dont do this...please We need volunteers for driving minibuses/ people carriers (passed with 3 years for mini bus/ passed with 1 for people carrier) I Would like to know who would like to go before the end of this week, so the 16th well sort out categorising people later (: thanks guys
