Right a Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo this week with the boys at the Flying Kiwi Motorcycles camp, Just some precautionary checks after being rejuvinated for this one. I like to start with secondary ignition monitoring as mostly its easy to get to and these captures can give you some real insight into whats going on with the engine perfromance right at the coal face as it were, where all the action happens. So after some troubles on the night i have managed to re-evaluate the data i collected and turn it into a bit of a story. Ill beak it downto make it easyer to follow. So firstly Cylinders 1 & 2. We can see from our initial data that #2 has a significant issue. After replacing the coil and HT lead we were making some headway. Cylinders 3 & 4 also raised concerns but we made some improvements and just need to revisit #4 again to check out whats going on to finish.
