Right boys and girls. Rugged & Refined need to seriously start organising next years T2T Blackpool to Paris 580miles (934km) bike ride. We need kit, sponsors, routes, transfers, support crew and vehicle, accommodation, press/media, ferry crossing, eurostar, East Coast trains all sorting out. We need volunteers to take ownership of one of the above to help us bring it all together. The proposed plan of action is... Thursday 2nd July Leeds to Blackpool (early door transfer) Thursday 2nd July Cycle Blackpool back to Leeds Thursday 2nd July stay in Leeds overnight Friday 3rd July Cycle Leeds to Hull Friday 3rd July overnight ferry crossing to Amsterdam Saturday 4th Cycle Amsterdam to Utrecht (for TdF Grand Depart) Saturday 4th Cycle Utrecht (following the Grand Depart) to ? Overnight in? Sunday 5th Cycle ? to ? Overnight in? Monday 6th Cycle ? to ? Overnight in? Tuesday 7th Cycle ? to Paris Overnight near Paris Wednesday 8th back to Leeds via Eurostar and East Coast We need names and guaranteed riders. This is going to be a group/team fundraiser with a just giving page for all riders in the name of Rugged & Refined. Donations will go to a chosen charity (our annual epic fundraiser) which we will all have to agree upon. The chosen charity will preferably be a local charity such as St Gemmas, a local Childrens Hospital/Ward or some other on similar lines. We need to think about the purchase of kit and kit sponsors. This will be easier from companies who want their name in Europe so get your thinking caps on. Anyone who is interested in helping out in any way let either Joel or myself know and we can arrange a meeting to get the ball rolling. If you know anyone who may be interested in participating please please please add them to the group. If we havnt tagged you in this please accept the post as invite. As soon as we start getting things together we will post prices and payment plans to make things easier. This is deffo one for the bucket list :-) Many thanks. Julian & Joel
