Right ive got my mind set on this, Im doing a half marathon next month just for fun and my target is to do a full marathon next year! I will be rasing money for an alzheimers disease research charity. My grandad (Eric) was cruelly affected by this awful disease and my farther in law George is suffering from it as we speak and unfortunately had to go into a care home. His Wife Ann and daughters and family are devastated how bad things have got, this is a man who always looked forward to retirement and saved for his future only to be cheated out of it when he got there, there is nothing that can be done for George as his condition is too far advanced. I really want to make a difference I have never done any charity fundraising or anything, theres lots of training and hard work going to have to go into the over the next year, Im determined to do this and hope when the time comes family and friends will support me to achieve this goal. The biggest run I have done to date is 12 miles so I only need to find another 14 mile from somewhere lol, its been a good year so far Im losing loads of weight and keeping fit so its all good :) # feelingdetermined
