Right then, I have been back a few days and as always its strange and sad not to be on the island, but a quick debrief, this years Manx was a success, as always our only aim is to make it there, anything else is a bonus, this year the "anything else" was provided in buckets by Shaggy (Derek Wilson ) with a fantastic 3rd in the Newcomers C class, the first time Hedzup have been on a podium at the Isle of Man. My results were rather less impressive with the engine wrecked on the Kawasaki, it sadly never finished a lap and if it wasnt for Emily Cook I would possibly still be sitting at the side of the road somewhere as every time I broke she was kind enough to get me back to the paddock, and once even turned up with food and a flask of tea, and we all know how much I like tea.. and then not qualifying on the R6, which was all my own fault, thank goodness for Shaggy! Thanks to everyone that helped get us there, all our truck sponsors and contributors, Bill Lymburn, Paul Russell, Jeff Meek, Bruce Paterson,Cupar and District Bikers, Wendy Karl Pring, Manx Grand Prix Riders association, Melville Motor Club, Roy, sorry if I have missed any.. as well as the unbelievable help from Russ El Torro Henley and Kevin Warren without whom we would still be a little group in a tent..the team worked very hard, especially in the first week when there was always lots to do and not many to do it, special mention goes to our other trophy winner from the Manx, Connor Cosgrove Turner, he was named most promising young marshall by the TT and MGP marshalls association after marshalling during the whole event and passing his IMC course to be allowed to marshal anywhere in the world. Thank you everyone for your support, we will be back next year(with a few changes)
