The message reads: Ohno-kun, good morning. My 9-year-old daughter likes drawing and wants to be an artist in the future. She asks, How do I become an artist? How do I get better at drawing? and Im at a loss at how to answer her. Ohno-kun, did you like drawing when you were a child as well? Ohh. Man, 9 years old. Was I drawing when I was 9? I think Id just started. I was into Dragonball at the time. I started copying pictures of it when I was in 3rd grade, so I was about 10. As for art... Well, if you like it, all you can do is draw. And then naturally, from copying, you eventually progress. Since youre often looking at it, the picture that youre copying from. Even Itō Jakuchū-san was like that, right? At the time, there were no photographs. And he wanted to draw chickens. So he spent years observing chickens. He just input everything about chickens into his head before he started drawing them. But if it doesnt go badly, it wont go well. Its a battle in a good sense. Im enjoying it, of course. Mm. If it goes well, Ill be incredibly happy. Already Im constantly, um...
