RiverWalk Phase II Update... Pictures of the contractor installing the 16,000 pound pedestrian bridge for the Riverwalk Phase II project. The contractor had to detour U.S. 17-92 at Mangoustine Avenue and West 1st Street while a crane placed the 80 foot iron bridge on its concrete supports. The entire operation was completed within 2 hrs. Now the contractor can start placing backfill up to the bridge in order to form and pour concrete for the approach slabs. This work will be completed within the next two weeks.
