RnD Interactive, an Online Marketing Agency focused on the needs of Car Dealers, is seeking an experienced Web Production Specialist for our Technical Services team. The ideal candidate has a strong coding background and executes flawlessly, but is also ready to assume responsibility for guiding current product standards and future enhancements. This position is primarily an internally-facing support role, with possible vendor communication and limited customer interaction. Qualifications: Possess a strong background in production and troubleshooting for online marketing products, with preference given to a candidate with 3+ years experience with websites, html emails, and mobile. Ability to create clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript that works perfectly in all major web browsers. (3+ years coding experience or educational equivalent) Rapidly debug any browser rendering issues related to HTML/CSS/Javascript. Ability to code manually and recall [tags/attributes/properties] fluidly. Understand the tradeoffs between usability, performance, accessibility and cutting edge user interface implementation. Ability to make balanced, informed implementation decisions that pragmatically meet those needs. Have a working knowledge of UI design principles and are able to apply style guides to new interface use cases. Work in collaboration with Designers on website interface and interactivity. Experience performing QA for web-based products. Excellent technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytic skills. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users. Ability to solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context. Ability to develop pragmatic solutions. Build flexible/scalable systems without over-engineering and choose simple solutions. Well organized, attention to detail, process oriented and ability to prioritize effectively. Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter; comfortable learning new technologies; accountable and able to maintain strong work relationships within a completely remote work environment. Comfort working as part of a departmental team, as well as developing strong relationships with other members of a cross-functional team. Nice to Have: search engine marketing, marketing copywriting, website analytics. Responsibilities: The Web Production Specialist will report directly to the Director of Technical Services, and will work closely with the Graphic Designer and Developers. While front-end coding proficiency is imperative for this role, the Web Production Specialist will also provide other routine product support as part of the Technical Services team. Maintain all client websites, through both proprietary CMS and HTML/CSS code blocks. Own new client websites from beginning to end: managing overall project, consulting with Account Managers and Graphics Designers to ensure designs support tech specs, producing and building web pages, communicating with development about feature enhancements, testing, launch, and support. Provide build support for HTML emails. Provide high-quality, error-free QA for products. Perform other production duties and contribute to projects as assigned including product support for all RnD products. Provide front-end coding for product updates, enhancements, and bug fixes, working closely with Developers, Designers, and Product Managers. The position is a full-time position, and you must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Central Standard time. You must possess a high-speed internet connection capable of supporting business VOIP services, or be willing to upgrade your service. This position pays up to $45,000 or $22/hr, depending on experience, plus bonuses. There is some flexibility on minimum hours (34-40) and work hours, as well as preference for hourly vs. salaried compensation.
