Rock & Roll Remembers December 24, 2000: The Four Seasons bassist Nick Massi dies from cancer at his home in Orange, New Jersey. Besides playing bass and singing backing vocals, Nick was also responsible for most of the groups vocal arrangements. He left the group in 1965. Nick was 73 years old when he died. - I was and still am a big fan of the Seasons they had an unbelievable string of GREAT records especially in the early & mid 60s - the drumming & arrangements on their records had me hooked at the get go - Buddy Saltzman was responsible for most of the great drumming and is one of my drumming heroes still to this day! https://youtube/watch?v=Ke4j3tz2YX8
