Rock had a great day today! He is a LOVE! He loves every single person with whom he came in contact. Rock is great with kids and wondered why an infant wasnt petting him, so he kissed the babys foot. :) Hes very gentle and is good with other dogs. Rocks owner turned him and his 12-year old sister, who was covered in tumors, in to the pound under the pretense that she was moving out of state and unable to take them with her. Turns out, she got a puppy instead. I tell you that to tell you this, she told us he was about a year and a half old, but I think hes more like 3 - 4 years old. This amazing boy deserves a home and family that appreciates all that he has to offer. Rock is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is heartworm and parasite free, but he does have Lyme disease. This is easily treatable with antibiotics from the vet. Cumberland Animal Control does not charge an adoption fee. Donations went toward his vetting, and a donation toward his adoption ensures that other dogs receive the same opportunity.
