Rocked it this weekend. Put up some of my large signs Saturday, then attended the Triton Central Coachs Dinner Night, where I donated a nice print (it was bringing $125 when I had to leave). Had to leave that event early and rush down 2 hours south to a fundraiser where I spearheaded a raffle that raised $7,200 for the Word of Honor Fund, which helps the children of special ops soldiers killed in battle. Special thanks to Johnny Unser and Kevin Blanch from Indycar for their help, to PWS for donating the gun, and mostly to recently retired 13-year Navy Seal Sean Frietag, who, along with his wife, attended the banquet with me and who is COO of Word of Honor Fund. He is a true American Hero in every sense of the word. Got home around 2:00 a.m., then got up this morning and Mike Polston and I put up some more big signs, until I had to stop to attend the Prosecutors Victims Rights Vigil. Great seeing some of the friends Ive made over the years through rough circumstances at this event. Just as that ended I was called to obtain a search warrant for one of our detectives. No rest for the wicked, I guess. Also - note that theres just one day left to register to vote!!
