Rockmount Ranch Wear proudly worn by the passengers of the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days Train this weekend. Among the VIP riders were Gov. John Hickenlooper, Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez, City Councilman Charlie Brown and Westword editor Patty Calhoun. Upon reaching Cheyenne, revelers attended the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade downtown; were taken by bus to the rodeo grounds for a catered barbecue lunch and the 118th annual Daddy of em All, the nations largest outdoor rodeo; and reboard the train for its 5:30 p.m. departure to Denver. Corporate sponsors MDC Holdings/Richmond Homes Foundation, Anadarko and Suncor are backing this years outing. Proceeds go to the Denver Post Community Foundation, which supports Colorado nonprofits in the arts, youth, education and human services. The trip reunites sleek locomotive No. 951 with a lineup of vintage coach, lounge and dining cars, re-creating train travel from the 1950s.
