Roll out the drums… Coach Stephen Keshi is one of the best coaches Nigeria has ever had! He is the only man alive in Nigeria that has ever won the African Nations Cup as a player & as a coach. Has been on a winning streak, Super Eagles unbeaten in the last 16 games, unbeaten throughout the last Nations Cup & went on to win the trophy, lost only 1 game-friendly against Egypt throughout his tenure. Has been able to develop, test & prove some new players. Talk about daring to tread where angels dread. Has gradually built up the winning mentality & confidence in our players. Has been able to read opposing teams & come up with strategic game plans. With a deep sense of humility has given credit to every player fielded in the game against the Harambee Stars of Kenya yesterday. Above all, the Super Eagles don’t necessarily play the best games, but always come out with the desired, right results, which is absolutely the most important, focal point. As we prepare for our next World Cup Qualifier against Namibia next Wednesday, what can possibly stop this colossus? Do I see another Sir Alex Ferguson in the making?
