Rolling along the Clark Fork River and over Nine Mile Creek two Little Joes and a Boxcab set follow the sweeping curve pulling a few boxcars, gondolas and a long string of grain hoppers. Ron V. Nixon captured scenes in black-&-white and in color of the Milwaukee Road at various location throughout Montana and his work of the Milwaukee Road is located at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT. In 2011 the sweeping curve and grade at Nine Mile has been breached and the concrete abutments are all that remain of the bridge. Another part of railroad history in America slowly disappearing.
