Romans Chapter 14, Paul was referring to meat and drink offerings that were connected to the Feast-days and Ceremonial-Sabbaths, and not Weekly-Sabbath, because the weekly Sabbath is the fourth Commandment. Says Paul, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. {Romans 3:31} “And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. {2 Peter 3:15-18} And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. {1 John 2:3-4} “I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. {Hosea 8:12} “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. {Genesis 2:1-3} Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. {Matthew 5:17-19} “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.{Isaiah 66:22-24} “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. {Romans 7:7} “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. {Romans 7:12} Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. {Ezekiel 20:12}, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. {John 17:17} And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. {Luke 4:16} And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, {Acts 17:2} And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. {Acts 18:4} THE DAY OF THE SABBATH See: Luke 23:50-56 and Luke 24:1-3.
