Romeo & Juliet!!!!!!!!!... A few weeks ago my friends and I performed in our annual low-budget / abridged / comedy version of Shakespeares Romeo & Juliet!!!... This year the ever changing cast included... Kevin Haines as Romeo Christine Haines as Juliet Charles J. Erickson 3 as The Nurse, Mercutio, & The Apothecary Jeff Pattawi-Gamlin as Tybalt & Friar Lawrence Wally Roche as Benvolio, Balthazar, & The Prince Mary Tuminello as The Hot Teacher & Petrucio We do seven 45 minute performances in seven and a half hours for most of the English classes at Lyons Township High School... Usually we dont take any pictures of ourselves, but this year Mary had her telephone handy, so heres what she got... Picture #1 and #2... This is the part were Mercutio leaves the stage to hit on The Hot Teacher in the front row... She couldnt resist taking a couple of selfies with such a fabulously haired renaissance man... Picture #3, #4, #5, #6, and #7... This year one of the teachers suggested that we cast Paris, who we cut from the show, with one of the students... So Jeff and Wally found the Swaggest Bro In Class and brought him onstage to act as the dead body of Paris... Unfortunately we didnt get a picture of Christine, who is pregnant in real life, which made for a very interesting Juliet!!!...
