Ronnie "Todd" Sasser, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 3, 2013. A celebration service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Watson - Hunt Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, June 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to the Junior Diabetes Association or the Autism Foundation of Georgia, 1551 Shoup Ct., Decatur, Georgia 30033. Todd was born in Covington, Alabama and was the son of the late Marlin Sasser. He had lived in Houston County for 32 years. Todd was a retired heavy equipment operator and continued working and tinkering with things to repair. He had a love of fishing and hunting. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Donna Culpepper Sassar of Ft. Valley; son, James Sasser of Ft. Valley, mother, Voncille Weeks of Opp, Alabama, siblings, Jay Sasser (Wanda), Diane Guadulepe (Edwin), Dwayne Weeks, all of Opp, Alabama, Doris Groce of Dothan, Alabama, Thelma Prickard of Oklahoma, and Charlotte Windham (Tim) of Evergreen, Alabama; mother in law, Janell Culpepper of Ft. Valley; sister-in-law, Sara Briscoe (Carl) of Ft. Valley; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Sasser. Please leave condolences at watsonhunt
