Room overflowing, many multi-cultural UCD Davis students met to - TopicsExpress

Room overflowing, many multi-cultural UCD Davis students met to educate each other about oppression in their backyard and to link those oppression into one consciousness to implement justice fairly for all oppressed groups. They understood they were building on the spirit of the 16,000 people who marched onto UCD to protest Wall-Street thievery and the shooting of military pepper spray down the eyes, ears, nose and throats of UCD students striving to protect economic justice for the vulnerable. A very big job but they courageously took it on. Seeing pictures of police oppressing everyday people in the US, Palestine, Egypt etc., the picture of our oppressions were identical. In every country the police were in military gear taking or threatening to take innocent lives. Students put their powerful insights together to identify actions to fix the harm done by the many forms of oppression. Change is deepening. These are noble students. I honor them.
