Rooster is all done. Dr. Abel showed me all of the after x-rays, - TopicsExpress

Rooster is all done. Dr. Abel showed me all of the after x-rays, the air pockets in the muscle where he literally had to cut new bone out of the muscle, one was the size of a golf ball. He let me see some of the removed bone, and look at Rooster for 2 seconds. He will require PT daily at a vet clinic, and comes back up on 10-14 days for follow-up. He said Rooster has been in this condition for 6-8 weeks. His worry is the muscle more than the nerves. They will keep his legs taped up in a bent position for as long as he can tolerate it to prevent quadricep tie-down. I about shook his hand off thanking him.
