Rossville Trash pickup will be on Tuesday, November 26! The Shawnee County Solid Waste Department will celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, 2013. Due to the holiday, the following solid waste collection schedule will be observed: • Collection for regular Monday customers – No change. • Collection for regular Tuesday customers will be on Monday, November 25, 2013. • Collection for regular Wednesday and Thursday customers will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. • Collection for regular Friday customers will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. • There will be no collections on Thursday or Friday, November 28th and 29th. Please remember that, due to the compressed holiday schedule, only regular household trash and recycling will be collected. We will not be able to collect yard waste or bulky items.
