Rotary Foundation Challenge: From March thru May, the club will match 1 point for every dollar donated to the Foundation, up to 200 points. If you give $100, you’ll get 100 points. If you give $500, you’ll get 200 points. 1,000 Points and/or dollars gets you a Paul Harris Fellow recognition! 3. Interact with Rotaract: Meet our Bearcat Rotaractors, Wed, Mar 26, 6-8pm, McKendree University Hett Lobby. Mark your calendars! 4. Blanche Carlton Sloan Four-Way Test Speech Contest: Two classes: novice and competition. Reach out to kids/youth to submit speeches. Kids must register thru our club by Apr 5th. They give their speeches at the District Assembly, Apr 26th. 5. Rotary Day at the Ballpark! Apr 12th, 1:15pm, Cards v. Cubs. $49 per ticket. Proceeds go towards augmenting District Grants! Great time! 6. Rotary Wine Fellowship kickoff! At the home of Catherine and Greg Yank. Sat, April 12, 4-6:30pm, $22 per person. Register/pay on DACdb/Calendar. 7. Business Announcements • From now until the end of March, Royal Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning will be offering carpet cleaning for .25 cents a square foot! Regular price is .29 cents a sq. ft. • Post Pack & Ship is now offering bulk document shredding at 50 cents per pound (less than others in the area). This service is especially valuable considering the increase in incidents of identity theft.
