To choose not to complain when the day before I was in the library where the families who had suddenly lost loved ones in the Seal Beach Salon shooting and sit with their pain w/o blame was not easy. So every 13th day of the fast is dedicated to those who feel the pain of loss intimately, to help hold your pain & believe that there is love, that you can live in joy again, no matter what.
