Rowany Festival AS XLVIII Archery Results It is my pleasure to announce the winners of the target archery events conducted at Festival. Queens Round Jean the Hornmaster Kings Round Sir Agro Agnesi Clout Robert McKenzie IKAC (Overall from two shoots) (Children) Ruby Newell (Period) Isobelle le Breton (Open) Robert McKenzie Everyone, (bunnies excepted), was a winner in the Children’s Chocolate Easter Bunny Shoot. There were many enthusiastic participants, the young archers being divided into three skill divisions, with each division having its own bunny target. Each choccy bunny was given a name, before being despatched by a hail of well aimed arrows, and then promptly devoured. All events were conducted in a friendly and sporting spirit, and the ranges, despite being the third choice of location, proved suitable, with the main range having large trees for shade with room for shooting at ranges up to 70 yards. I would like to thank the following TAMs, Ulric of Ambledune, Sigmund Spelmann, Robert McKenzie, Jean the Hornmaster, Ranif Pallesser and Osric Gaedeling for running events when I was called to the War or Rapier fields and for greatly assisting at all other times, ensuring that shoots ran smoothly. I would also like to thank Rosy and Jaimee from the Lemmings who cheerfully helped with setting up and toted equipment whenever needed. Thanks are also very much due to the kind gentles who took responsibility for the sign up and scoring duties from me, which guaranteed that that they were properly and competently handled.
