Rugrats and Half Pints Soft Play Centre in Banbury are looking for a Cook to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who is bubbly, out-going and can work well under pressure. The ability to prioritise is essential. Where possible, all food at Rugrats is home made, so you must be able to prepare and cook main meals such as Spaghetti Bolognaise and Chilli. We also serve a wide range of Baguettes, Jacket Potatoes and Children’s meals. Rugrats have achieved 5 stars for our Hygiene Standards and we would expect you to maintain this level of compliance to standards, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Working 4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed and Friday, your core hours will be 10.30 to 5.30/6.00. You will be required to pick up fresh produce and the time taken will be compensated. As we are a soft play centre, working bank holidays is required – however you will be given the time off at a convenient opportunity. Additional hours may be available during busy periods and/or holiday cover. You will also be required to assist in the café serving refreshments and working on the tills on occasion.
