Rule Changes for Immediate Publishing Approved by Limerock Speedway Board of Directors 8/12/14 Flagman, flag helper, corner flag, infield official and race director will be in safety Orange vests. Infield helpers, photographers and firemen will be in safety Yellow vests. Officials will approach moving winged cars from the inside aka drivers left side, officials will not approach a moving wing car from the down side of the wing. Drivers will not exit their vehicles on a yellow flag or red flag unless a fire, hot oil, hot water or smoke forces them from the car. Drivers will reach safety away from oncoming traffic and wait for track safety crews. ZERO tolerance - Penalty For Infraction – loss of all points to that date, two week suspension and $200 penalty to continue racing. Limerock Speedway to immediately install 2 Jersey type concrete barriers in the infield for safety crews, photographer, etc. too seek protection from oncoming traffic. Tow offs (from the track) during cautions are prohibited, cars will be pushed or towed to new safety area’s on infield. Cars under their own power may safely exit track. Speeding in Pits will not be tolerated.
