Rules of Engagement TWO Rule #9 - No Huddle No huddle offense is allowed, but the following guidelines apply. No huddle may only be used when yards are gained and the offense is stopped in bounds. If a play results in a loss of yards, incomplete pass, or a player is pushed out of bounds, the offense must huddle prior to the next play. Recruiting: Rule #1 - Over-recruiting is not allowed. Recruiting restrictions are being implemented in order to ensure there is sufficient talent for the CPU teams. We will be revising recruiting rules as I learn more about it, but for now, teams may not sign more than double the number of seniors that leave your school. For example, if you have 5 seniors leaving your school, you are allowed to sign 10 recruits during that offseason. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in sanctions. Rule #2 - Win more, recruit less. If you win your division or conference, and you have LESS THAN THREE seniors leaving, you must sign 1 less recruit than you would normally be allowed. If you win your division or conference, and you have 3 or more seniors leaving, you must sign 2 less recruits than otherwise allowed. Position Changes: You are only allowed to make position changes that make sense. Please not the following - Only QBs are allowed to be used as QBs. (Athletes may not be switched to QB.) QBs are eligible to be changed to any position except linemen and FB. RBs are eligible to be changed to any position except linemen, FB and QBs. WRs are eligible to be changed to any position except linemen, FB and QBs. TEs are eligible to be changed to any position except QB. Linemen may only be used on the line. LBs are eligible to be be changed to any position except QB. CBs are only eligible to be used as WRs. (CBs may not be converted to either safety position.) Safeties are eligible for any position except QB, TE and FB. Athletes may not be used as QBs or FBs.
