Rumblings from across the Mighty Zambezi River: I know I can be - TopicsExpress

Rumblings from across the Mighty Zambezi River: I know I can be quite an originator once in a while but I must admit that I did not craft the following as I respect laws that are ascribed to intellectual property the world over. One H. L. Mencken, a US editor had this to say about practical politics: “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” Quite true but in the case of our Morgan Tsvangirai, he has not alarmed anybody. He spoke and continues to speak of his dream for a society where all mankind is free from prejudice. And when he says Zimbabwe is being led by a clueless lot, he means it: the results are there for all to see.I just read somewhere that one ZanuPf guy has stated that there is no liquidity crunch in Zimbabwe. What degree of madness could ever surpass that? He spoke about the madness associated with the indigenisation laws, now factories have been turned into ghosts of their former selves. And when the youths people demand their 2,2 million jobs promised last year, who can blame them?
