Runners World is looking for a runner who is authentic, inspiring, athletic, passionate and unstoppable to be featured on the front cover of their magazine. Special Olympics Indiana athlete Andrew Peterson couldnt be a more perfect fit. Andrew is not only a Special Olympics USA Games 3-time gold medalist, but he is also a leader among other SO athletes and an advocate of inclusion within his community. For several years I have motivated many Special Olympics athletes to believe in themselves, train harder and improve their times. Running has also allowed me to inspire hundreds of people on and off the track. Last year I started speaking to high school students about including others and accepting them. says Andrew.
