Russia: Russian hospital saves Ukrainian soldier A Ukrainian soldier could be seen recovering from his wounds in Kuibyshevo Hospital in the Russian region of Rostov Tuesday, after being wounded in eastern Ukraine. Sergei Kotchubey was wounded in the Donetsk region while fighting anti-Kiev groups. He was found by a group of men, who Kotchubey suspects were part of the anti-Kiev forces, and taken to receive medical care. After being admitted to hospital on August 10, doctors operated on Kotchubeys lung which had been damaged during the fighting. He is currently recovering and plans to return home soon. ¤SOT, Sergei Kotchubey, Ukrainian government soldier (Russian): I was teaching in Nikolaev. We were sent to Zaporizhia region. I served in the Zaporizhia region. Then we were transferred to the Donetsk region. We were fired upon. I was lying on the field. Some people found me. Maybe it was militias.
