S.LEAGUE RESULTS 6/8/13 Two matches were played tonight at both JBS and CCK with the results as follows. Tampines defeated Courts Young Lions 4-2 to retain their spot on the top of the ladder, while the developmental side on the opposite end of the table with 3 points to its credit (the only side out of the 12 with single-digit). Iqbal Hussain opened the accounts for the Young Lions in the 14th minute before the floodgates opened for Stags to see Kunihiro Yamashita, Shahdan Sulaiman and Fahrudin Mustafic (2 goals) putting their names on the list. Kunihiro was unfortunate to score an own goal that sliced the deficit for the CYL in the 75th minute. Meanwhile at CCK, Warriors FC and Geylang Internation shared the spoils with no gain from either side to see the positionings of both former kingpins on the status quo at tenth and ninth respectively.
