SACP Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee SACP GAUTENG PROVINCE ALERT RED OCTOBER CAMPAIGN LAUNCH PRESS CONFERENCE 10 October 2013 The SACP Gauteng province will convene a press conference to announce the launch of its 2013 program of the “Red October Campaign”. The press conference will announce details relating to the following actions: 1. Mass action campaign targeting Standard Bank South Africa, the Banking Council of South Africa and the Johannesburg Housing Company to defend the working class and the poor against housing evictions by banks funding eviction transactions and for speculative reckless lending practices. 2. Memorial lecture towards the centenary of the Great October socialist revolution. 3. SACP Red October Imbizos in Thokoza and the Midvaal in Gauteng.
