SANCCOB in Cape St Francis is kicking off their inaugural Penguin Holiday Festival on Saturday with a public penguin release during which rehabilitated penguins will be released back into the wild. The release will take place next to the Seal Point Lighthouse at 10h30. This 10-day festival in St Francis will also include a kids programme on Monday to Wednesday, cheese and wine pairing and benefit auction on Monday 22nd December, their annual penguin golf day, a performance by Wendy Oldfield and as well as closing the festival with a show by Chris Chameleon.
