SARA is working in partnership with Hunter Demolition and Wrecking Corporation on the removal a non-functional bridge that has collapsed in Wilson County, south of highway 541 along the Cibolo Creek. While some woody debris can be helpful to the river bank and natural ecology and habitat of the river, excessive debris build up in one area can leave lasting damage in other areas of the river. As stewards of the San Antonio River, SARA seeks to maintain a natural, healthy free flowing river throughout the entire basin.
