#SAS_NEWS #SYRIA Crisis in access to water in Al- Hula in the countryside of Homs: SAS News-Homs Hula area, in the north of Homs province suffers of daily crisis to get and use of drinking water, due to suspension of water networks that feed the villages and towns of the region. People in this region get their needs of water from the water through large distributors by water tanks, and the price of thousand of liters of drinking water tank reched to 600 Syrian pounds, and changed its price according to price of diesel, which the price of diesel litre to 300 pounds. Owners of water tanks bring their water from artesian wells in their homes, through the pumps run on diesel fuel, the water could be contaminated, while some people baptizes to withdraw water from old wells, called Arab pit with ropes, but they are few in the region. Amr Alsayyed said to SAS News: I have an Arabic pit in an agricultural ground, but because of the frequent use it became contaminated with mud, so you need a long time to lay water, while his cousin, Bassam suffers from the difficulty in securing the price of the water tank ,becuse of being unemployed from work,and because of security situation. A press offical at Houla local council Abu Muhammad said, if the support was found for wells and diesel,the people would benefit because the water network that feeds the homes is not Off, but the main problem is the lack of diesel. He added that the interim government did not provide anything, except that it formed Water Office in Al-houla, and paid salaries without work, the government had sent $ 5,000 to the formation of the office,but did not send dollars to buy diesel, and it had formed an office of the bread and paid salaries for its employees without work. The Hula local Council consists of Kafr Laha, Taldou, Telzhib cities, and Taiba Algharbia, burjQai, Kessen and Alasmalil, and there are sub-councils , and the area includes more than 150 thousand people who were displaced from the districts of Homs. It is noteworthy that the northern countryside of Homs is under siege by Syrian regime forces, since more than a year and a half, and suffers a lack of services and a deterioration in living conditions. #SASNEWS #SYRIA
