So buckle up and leave the remaining things aside for few days and just concentrate on your goal. Overall the exam can be rated a bit difficult. All the difficulty was in the marketing section. Marketing questions were asked a bit deeper. And the computers were of basic ones. Let me show you a detailed analysis of the whole exam. SBI Clerk 26 July Morning Shift Exam Analysis =========================================== * English : Starting with ENGLISH, this section was as usual easy. Questions were based on Antonyms/synonyms, cloze test, error spotting, jumbled sentences, reading comprehension. Reading comprehension was a bit time taking and remaining all can be done if you are good with Grammar. Please do more concentrate on grammar, as it can turn your cards! A safe attempt in this section would be 33+ * Quantitative Aptitude : Next coming to Quantitative Aptitude, more than ten questions came from simplification, questions on SI & CI; Ratio, number series, %ages, Men & Work, Problems on train, Mixtures & Allegations and five questions on DI. Questions were very lengthy and time taking. Though questions were not from DI, the difficulty can be linked with that of the Pos exam. So we rate it to be moderate – difficult and a safe attempt would be 20+ * Reasoning : Then, reasoning: this section was also time taking and the questions were little trickier. Please don’t waste your time on the questions, which you feel takes longer time. Questions were based on seating arrangement, syllogisms, puzzle, data sufficiency, blood relations and all. If you are pretty sure that you can attempt the questions in a short time, then you can happily attempt it. A safe attempt would be: 28+ * GENERAL AWARENESS : This section was moderate. Questions were pretty general and less number of questions came from the current affairs. You can attempt this section, if you remember each and every thing happened in the last 4-5 months. And, some may feel this section to be easy! It depends on your rate of memory and the hardwork you guys did. We rate this to be moderate-difficult and the safe attempt would be 23+ * MARKETING & COMPUTERS: This has again repeated! As we have told you in the previous session that marketing part was hard, the same thing has happened. Deep analysis is needed to get the answer. Topics involved were, market segmentation, questions on advertising, target group and selling process. Apart from this, we have computer section, which was pretty opposite from the former and had bits from the basics of computers. Have a look at the “Computer Pocket Knowledge”, which might help you out.
