SBI DONATES RS2 CRORE TO CHIEF MINISTER’S RELIEF FUND Wednesday, 19 June 2013 | PNS | DEHRADUN | in Dehradun For the victims of recent heavy rains and landslides in the state, State Bank of India chief general manager (Delhi circle) Kajal Ghose handed over a cheque for Rs2 crore under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. She handed the cheque to the Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna at his residence on Tuesday. Ghose said that apart from banking, SBI is also committed towards social responsibilities and has always been pioneer in such activities. The bank has been helping people, earmarking one percent of its profits for community service activities. Last year also, SBI had donated Rs2 crore for the flood victims of the State towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. DGM zonal office, Dehradun Diwakar Bhatt and DGM (agriculture business unit), Delhi circle RJS Randhawa were present on the occasion.
