SCARS is known for dog rescue, but we are also very proud of our cat rescue program. Lately we have received several Look at Us Now” stories from families who have adopted cats and we are truly grateful to these caring families. Ive been with SCARS for quite some time now and Im not sure why. I do require an extra little TLC before I show you how much I really love you but Im such a sweetheart regardless! When I first came into my foster home, I binged on my food (and everyone elses if given the chance) and was extremely skittish. I barely let foster mama pet me and when she did I was super uncomfortable. I also had a gastrointestinal problem and was on special medicated food but am now able to eat what my foster siblings eat without any issues! I loved my two foster brothers right away, it just took me about a month to warm up to foster mama, only because I wanted to make sure she was worth my love since others havent been in the past. Now I cant get enough of her and am shower her with cat cuddles whenever I can! Im looking for someone whos just as patient in earning my affection, has the time to play with me because I have lots of energy, and hopefully has other fur babies for me to befriend too. Im good with children and dogs and I promise to be the bestest kitty if you just give me a chance! Fun Facts about me: I love to sneak under the covers and snooze with you so dont be surprised if you see my little face peering up at you in the morning! Even though everyone always tells me how pretty I am, Im really camera shy.
