SCHOOL HEAD-TEACHER FOUND DEAD WITH PUNCTURED EYES & MISSING PALMS IN SUSPECTED RITUAL KILLING; THE body of a head teacher who went missing in Mwewa area in Samfya District in Luapula Province has been found in a decomposed state with some parts missing. This is according to the Times of Zambia. Luapula Province police chief, Malcolm Mulenga said yesterday that Boniface Kalinda, 44, a head teacher at Kandolo Primary School in Samfya was found dead and his body was in a decomposed state in a bush near headman Kapondo’s house on Saturday. Mr Mulenga said Mr Kalinda’s body was found without both palms and had punctured eyes. Police suspect sharp instruments were used to cut the body parts. He said the deceased was found by his nephew, 23-year-old Kennedy Kalolo around 15:00 hours on Saturday. Mr Kalinda, of Kandolo teacher’s compound went missing on Saturday May 17, 2014.
