SCHOOL PHOTOS - UNIFORM We have published our suggested guidelines for school uniform to be worn on Monday for Whole School Photographs. We appreciate parent support in this area. We do not expect new purchases of uniform just for photo day; and borrowing from a mate is fine. We do thank all parents who have made some purchases to update school uniform and know that your child will use the uniform after photo day too. A reminder of our guidelines are below: School Uniform is a School Council Policy. Lara Lake Staff can only highly recommend parents follow these guidelines and that they cannot be mandated. School photos are an opportunity to capture a wondrous childhood moment frozen in time. In years to come, your family can sit and reminisce about life at Primary School. When children are not presented consistently (as outlined below), it creates a very noticeable mismatch in group photos. Remember that others are buying these images as well for their keepsakes so we need to be respectful of everybody. To this end, the School strongly recommends that families support the following guidelines: • All students arrive at school on time as photos are captured close to 9am for some classes • Hair brushed/combed or styled in a tidy fashion Dress code • Green school jumpers/jackets with school logos (apart from Grade 6 students who can wear their special tops) • Red polo tops • Bottle green tracksuit pants/shorts or school winter kilts Lara Lake children traditionally present beautifully for photo days. Adherence to these simple guidelines will help make sure these valuable photos are as good as they can be for everybody. Note that photographs will take approximately four weeks to be prepared and sent back to school for distribution. Envelopes will be sent home to parents first day of Term 2. Send the photo envelopes and payment in on the day as they are given to the photographer directly. If you forget to send in the envelope AR Photos will give you a couple of days grace - take your payments directly to them at 148 Marshalltown Road, Grovedale. If you are more than a few days late youll need to pay an extra late payment fee.
