SCRIPTURE The Bible was written over a very long period, about 1500 years. More than 40 men anointed by the Holy Spirit, there are several authors, are were people from all walks of life, from humble noble. Since its completion, is almost 2000 years. Despite millennia, remains in its original form. Certainly, it is the Lords hand in their preservation. It is a specific book for Gods people. The wicked see it as another literature and do not give enough credit to his information. It was written for the elect! And to accept it is necessary to fully believe your information. It is a book of faith for people of faith. Explain it and practically unnecessary. Understand it, does not depend on a good cultural education, wisdom, or even dominate their original language. In fact, only one accepts its principles without questioning them! It is the only source of Gods revealing His will and purpose for their children. Those who want to live in communion with the Lord, got to know and meditate upon its truths. Below I provide several texts, in which we see what the Bible says about itself. Meditate. The Bible has its origin in the heart of the Lord, as the Spirit was revealed to pure men. She is: 1) She is inspired by God (2 Tim 3:16) and 2) He is inspired by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:16; Heb 3.7; 2 Peter 1:21) 3) The Lord Jesus showed its effectiveness to quote it several times (Matthew 4.4; Mark 00:10; John 07:42) 4) Jesus used to teach his followers (Luke 24:27). Thats enough to never put in doubt. In reading, we find that is called repeatedly for the Word of God and Christ (James 1:21; 1 Peter 2.2; Luke 11:28; Hebrews 4:12; Col. 3:16). There are many terms used by the Lord to call it, here are a few: 1) Word of Truth (James 1:18); 2) Scripture (Daniel 10:21; Rom 1.2; 2 Tim 3:15); 3) Book of the Lord and the Law (Psalm 40.7; Rev. 22:19; Isa 34:16; Nehemiah 8.3; Gal 3:10); 4) Law of the Lord (Ps 1.2; Isaiah 30.9); 5) Sword (Ephesians 6:17); 6) Oracles of the Lord (Rom 3.2; 1 Peter 4:11). Items found in a variety of information, including: 1) The promises of the gospel (Rom 1.2); 2) Laws, Statutes, and Judging (Dt 4.5,14; Ex 24.3,4); 3) Prophecies (2 Peter 1.19 to 21); 4) The testimony of Christ (John 5:39; Acts 10:43; 18:28; 1 Cor 15.3). The Bible is self-sufficient, she explains in her own pages, rendering unnecessary any other literature to make himself understood. It is full (Luke 16.29,31) and enough to guide us without errors (Prov 6:23; 2 Peter 1:19) for salvation through faith (2 Tim 3:15). His teachings are described as: 1) Pure (Ps 12.6; 119 140; Prov 30.5); 2) Forever (Psalm 119 160; John 17:17); 3) Perfect (Psalm 19.7); 4) Precious (Ps 19:10; Heb 4:12). And they were written for our instruction and knowledge (Rom 15.4) are directed to all men (Romans 16:26), but this should not subtract or add anything to your content (Dt 4,2; 12:32). The main purpose of his teachings is: 1) Regenerate (James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:28; Ps 19.7); 2) Revive (Ps 119.50,93); 3) Lighting (Ps 119: 130); 4) Sanctification (John 17:17; Eph 5:26); 5) produce faith (John 20:31); 6) Hope Grant (Ps 119.49; Rom 15,4); 7) Bring to obedience (Deut 17.19,20); 8) Purify (Jn 15,3; Eph 5:26; Ps 119.9); 9) Gives growth (1 Peter 2.2); 10) Construction (Acts 20:32; 1 Thessalonians 2:13); 11) Advise (Ps 19:11; 1 Corinthians 10:11); 12) Consoling (Ps 119.82; Rom 15,4); 13) Rejoice (Ps 19.8; 119 111). However, these teachings will be truly understood only by those who caught the spirit of the Lord; others who have the Spirit can not understand it or accept it (John 6:63; 2 Corinthians 3.6) and their ignorance leads them astray (Matthew 22:29; Acts 13:27). The Lord Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit, understand it and to accept it without question (Luke 00:45; John 16:13; 1 Cor 2.10,14). The men who were transformed into new creatures must observe his teachings and accept them. He is the source of life and growth in communion with the Eternal. She is: 1) Standard of Living (1 Peter 4:11); 2) Fit for acceptance (Jn 2:22); 3) Handles (Dt 17:19; 31.11 to 13; Neh 8.3; Isa 34:16; Jer 36.6; Acts 13:15); 4) Known (2 Tim 3:15); 5) Word of God (1 Thess 2:13); 6) Worthy of meditation daily (Acts 17:11); 7) Except in the heart (Deut 6.6; 11.18); 8) children taught (Dt 6,7; 11:19; 2 Tim 3:15); 9) taught all (2 Chronicles 17.7 to 9; Neh 8.7,8); 10) Always on the lips (Dt 6,7); 11) Worthy of obedience (Mt 7:24; Lk 11:28; James 1:22); 12) Used against enemies (Mt 4.4,7,10; Eph 6.11,17). Live well, are certain victories. The saints, believers in the Lord Jesus, should be especially careful with the sacred Word, and be aware of the duty to: 1) Love (Ps 119.97,113,159,167); 2) Feel for your reading pleasure (Ps 1.2); 3) Wishing him (Ps 119.82); 4) admire him (Ps 119 161; Isaiah 66.2); 5) Keep it in mind (Ps 119.16); 6) Save it to the heart (Ps 119.11); 7) Wait for him (Ps 119.74,81,147); 8) Meditation (Ps 1.2; 119.99,148); 9) Trust (Ps 119.42); 10) obey it (Ps 119.67; Lk 8:21; Jn 17.6); 11) Claiming their promises (Ps 119.25,28,41,76,169); Those who are blessed to observe: (Luke 11:28; James 1:25). Men who still live according to the flesh, are driven by evil enemies of the word and its teachings are null (7.9 to 13 Mc), rejected (Jer 8.9) and not obeyed (Ps 119: 158). Dear brothers, the Bible unequivocally must be observed and practiced his teachings in day-to-day. Meditation in its truths brings us closer and makes us similar to the Creator
