SE VT People: From Ed Burke, the Windham County volunteer coordinator for Gun Sense Vermont: We are ramping up our effort to let our Windham County legislators know how much support our proposed background check legislation has. Do you know anyone in the following towns who would be willing to sign and mail a pre-stamped postcard to their legislators? If so, let me know and Ill get you postcards to give to them. The towns we need to hear from: Athens, Brookline, Dover, Grafton, Guilford, Jamaica, Londonderry, Marlboro, Newfane, Rockingham, Bellows Falls, Stratton, Townshend, Vernon, Wardsboro, Windham, Whitingham, Wilmington If you know anyone from any of these towns who wants to close the background check loopholes, lets get them a postcard to show their support.
