SEEK DAILY, Tuesday, September 30 Habakkuk 1:12-17 THE GRACE OF GOD IS FOR ALL …Why then do you tolerate the treacherous...?Habakkuk 1:13b, NIV The prodigal son’s elder brother in Luke 15:11-31 represents Christians with holier-than-thou attitude. Yes, he was the good boy, the respectful child. He was gentle, obedient, hardworking, helpful, and resourceful and had so many other good qualities; yet selfish; unconcerned for his sibling; eager to inherit worldly assets of his father and obviously did not see anything good in his brother. When a person cares less about what happens to another person, such a person is considered wicked before God and destined for hell fire. God’s greatest desire is for us to know and come back to Him. This is why He tolerates sinners, though He hates and does not tolerate sin. To Habakkuk and even us, God should just do away with sinners! But the Bible says that if God marks sin, who will be spared? We are also saved by grace; hence, we must do all within our ability to bring lost sheep into God’s flock to enjoy same grace. If you are not saved yet or unsure of your salvation, do not worry. Just faithfully go to Him now for help. • Birthday Blessing: “And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut and none shall open-” Isaiah 22:22 Read Bible Through Passage: Isaiah 32-34; Ephesians 2 Transformation is the ability and willingness to live beyond your form. - Wayne Dyer *************************** Meditations for the Day 30Sep2014 BIBLE VERSE FOR THE DAY “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:11 NIV). ******************* QUOTE FOR THE DAY Discipline is tough—and something we may try to avoid. But in sports and in life, short-term pain is often the only path to long-term gain. - Bill Crowder
